RESIDENTS living on a potholed city road have called for Plymouth City Council to resurface it completely, with numerous spot-fixes breaking up and asphalt littering their street.
Those living on Durham Avenue, in St Jude's one of the residential streets off Beaumont Road - said they are being forced to 'slalom' up and down their road due to deep potholes.
Although they say they have reported them to the local authority, several residents said the policy of filling individual potholes means that rainwater is still able to seep in, and the holes soon open back up again.
Durham Avenue resident Dean Saunders said: "It's disgusting, really, with the amount we pay through road tax and council tax and all the taxes you pay.
