LEWIS GIBSON SIGNING FROM EVERTON HAS WORKED OUT WONDERFULLY FOR PLYMOUTH ARGYLE

COMMANDING PRESENCE

IF there was an award for Plymouth Argyle's best player for the opening four months of the 2023/24 Championship campaign then defender Lewis Gibson would be a leading contender.

Given the sheer consistency of the 23-year-old, with his ability to regularly win headers inside his own penalty area and block shots, it would probably come down to either him or top scorer Morgan Whittaker. The fact that Gibson comes into the conversation despite the eight goals them spectacular ones assists from Whittaker, is a testament to how well he has done.
