THE role of masculinity will be explored in Plymouth’s second M.A.N Culture conference this September, as part of the city’s work to combat violence against women and girls (VAWG). M.A.N Culture is a network that was set up in 2021 with funding secured by Plymouth City Council, to help change the conversation with men about violence against women and girls.
The group is made up of men across the city and provides the space to have honest conversations about masculinity and male violence, address cultural issues regarding equality and stand up to harmful behaviours.
