THREE of the six defenders in Plymouth Argyle's League One title-winning squad will not be with the Pilgrims for their much-anticipated 2023/24 Championship campaign.
It has been announced that James Wilson will be leaving at the end of his current contract on June 30 after the deadline for a new deal expired.
James Bolton was released by Argyle last month after an injury-hit two seasons at Home Park while Nigel Lonwijk has returned to Wolverhampton Wanderers after a successful loan stint.
That leaves Brendan Galloway, Macaulay Gillesphey and Dan Scarr who did accept the offer of a new contract as the only defenders currently on the Pilgrims' books.
