DEVONPORT Dockyard's owner, Babcock has unveiled a partnership which will help serving soldiers, veterans and their families.
Babcock has agreed a partnership with the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) and will support several key events run by the charity. The multi-year partnership will see the defence firm sponsor two of the charity's landmark events - the Cateran Yomp and Operation Bletchley.
The Cateran Yomp is a 24-hour, 54-mile trek across the Scottish Highlands, which takes place in June each year.
Operation Bletchley involves a series of codebreaking challenges which sees participants tackle testing codes, explore the great outdoors and uncover a historic secret message to deliver to World War Two prime minister Winston Churchill before time runs out.
