I don't know about you, but I do not like January, it's long, wet and dark. I always thought I like the winter but, this year, I have not enjoyed it. The only promising prospect is the live sport we experience! But alas, we are through, and looking towards brighter mornings and evenings, and hopefully, a little less rain.
Last weekend our unbeaten home record was broken at Brickfields by a dominant Darlington Mowden Park. Darlington came down on the boys all guns blazing and didn't hold any prisoners.
Albion started off well, enjoying two early tries from captain Jack Oulton and Hallam Chapman, but Darlington applied the pressure and scored two tries, late in the match, to see seal Albion's fate, and break the fortress of Brickfields with Albion losing 28-17.
