THE family of a much-loved woman are appealing for help to give her a “send-off she deserves”, after she was found dead at her home last weekend.
Police have confirmed officers were called to an address in Greenbank Avenue shortly after noon on Saturday, May 20, following the discovery of the body of a 51-year-old woman. The matter is now with the Plymouth coroner to be investigated for an inquest in due course.
Sophia Woodman, daughter of Tracy McGowan, has launched an online appeal and has spoken warmly about her mother and the ‘demons’ she had fought over the years.
Sophia said: “It was as very big shock to all of us – me, my brother and sister. Mum had been a drug addict in her past, but had overcome it.
