Family's plea to bring their ill mum home

A PLYMOUTH mum who works in Derriford Hospital has become severely unwell while on holiday - and now her family are appealing to the public to help get her home.

Kristina Hart headed to Spain last week with her family - but after a perfect start to their break they are now in a "desperate" situation.

Kristina and her husband Robert Hart, along with their two children, Cameron and Oliver, had spent a peaceful evening wandering along the beach in Spanish town, Salou on June 24.

They had ice cream and drinks then headed back to their hotel to rest.

But 12 hours later Kristina suffered a stroke and was rushed to intensive care. The 38-year-old remains at the Hospital Universitari de Tarragona Joan XXIII in the Catalonia city of Tarragona.
