A COMPANY which sold vintage clothing has gone into liquidation, just weeks after shutting its Plymouth city centre store.
Vintage Superstore Group Ltd has appointed liquidators, and was voluntarily wound up.
It closed its Vintage Superstore store, based in the Rotunda at Charles Cross, at the end of August, blaming the economy.
Its store in Launceston is also permanently closed, the website is no longer available, and, in a window of the Plymouth store, a hand-drawn sign says "shop is closed permanently", with an unhappy face sketched next to it.
The company only opened the Plymouth outlet last year, and huge queues were seen outside during one of its sales.
