A large emergency services presence, including police and paramedics, was spotted at the scene along Vauxhall Street at around 7.30pm.
Police said five people were arrested at the scene and remain in police custody yesterday morning, while one man was taken to Derriford Hospital to be treated for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
