He enjoys being at Home Park and being around his team-mates, and realises how fortunate he is, but admits it has been 'really difficult at times' with the injuries - often long-term ones - he has suffered.
Those have been the downs the 27-year-old has experienced since first signing for Argyle in July 2021. The ups have been the success the Pilgrims have had on the pitch, most notably the League One title triumph in 2022/23 with 101 points.
This is a player who made his Premier League debut for Everton at the age of 19. Yet, injuries have unfortunately been a common theme of his career. There is no sense of self-pity, though, when you talk to Galloway. The opposite in fact.
"It has been really difficult at times but I think the journey as a footballer is a lot of ups and downs," he said. "I have experienced a lot of ups and a lot of downs.
"I think if I didn't experience those downs it wouldn't make me the person I am today, and the person I'm trying to be. I think I have got to deal with it.
