SUE Gale and Sue Newberry were on fire when they played Nicky Slight and Jessica Randell in Ladies A.
DAVE AND SUSIE GALE
Good week for the two Sues with two wins out of two

They hardly put a foot or racquet wrong all evening with Sue N's forehand working well and with Sue G's down-the-line shots and lobs and slices, they proved too strong overall as the two Sues won 6-0, 6-1, 6-2.

It was a successful week for the two Sues as they also beat Anna Tickle and Alison Goodwin. The Sues got off to a good start and by using a variety of shots were able to run Anna and Alison round the court. Anna and Alison didn't give up, though, and took the second set to a tie-break. Sue and Sue were steady though and took the tie-break and the third set to win 6-2, 6-5, 6-4.

Esther Jolliff and Sandra Fox played Luisa Warring and Sandra O'Sullivan and despite strong serving from Luisa it was Esther and Sandra who covered the court well and were the more consistent pair winning 6-3, 6-3, 6-4.

Sarah Blain and Pam Ellis continued their strong start to Ladies B with a good win over Pat Hexter and Liz Gill winning 6-1, 6-2, 6-1.
