MORGAN Whittaker said it was 'a no-brainer for me to stay and kick on' after Plymouth Argyle rejected an offer for the 23-year-old attacker from Italian club Lazio last week.
Whittaker is happy at Home Park and that is showing in his performances on the pitch, with his winning goal in the 1-0 victory over his former club Swansea City on Saturday taking his tally for the season in all competitions to 17.
A move to Lazio would have offered Whittaker the chance to play in Serie A against sides such as AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Napoli and Roma, as well as in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League against Bayern Munich this month.
However, Whittaker said: "I think my head was never going to be turned because of how happy I am here. It's a no brainer for me to stay and kick on.
