The two clubs are a division apart, but met in the FA Cup earlier this season with Winchester leaving the Moors with a 1-0 win. As the scoreline suggests, there was little between the two sides on the day and Lambs boss Stuart Henderson has urged his players to take heart from their display that day, be more positive and take the game to their opponents.
“I am really looking forward to it, they are in the league above and our form hasn’t been great, but it is a little bit of pressure off the lads,” Henderson said. “But we are here, so let’s go and enjoy the occasion and let’s see what can happen.
“I am trying to tell the lads to play on the front foot a little bit more. We have always been an attacking side, but I think we have sometimes been guilty and too concerned about the transitions and stuff and maybe taking away from what we are good at.
“It is always about trying to find that balance, but we created more chances on Wednesday night than we have for a long time.”
