MORGAN Whittaker has been enjoying pre-season with Plymouth Argyle, according to boss Wayne Rooney, as speculation about the future of the talented attacker continues to swirl.
It was reported by The Daily Record in Scotland on Friday night that Argyle had rejected an offer for Whittaker from Rangers which, with add-ons, would have been in excess of £7 million, but the Ibrox club were now expected to make an improved bid.
Argyle's 2023/24 Player-of-theYear after scoring 19 goals in the Championship last term, has been linked with a number of clubs this summer, including Premier League pair Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
