Ashburton, who were top, dropped down to third after they lost to Cornwood 2nd XI, who have moved up to fourth.
Ivybridge and Paignton, winners against Sandford 2nd XI, both went past Ashburton in an all-change top four.
The Bridge posted an imposing total of 262 for five in 41 overs. Cebo Tshiki was the man of the moment with 104. Harvey Johnson (32) and Zack Dunn got Ivybridge up to 54 for two, at which point Tshiki strode into the middle.
A stand of 128 between Tshiki and Dunn (32) was followed by another of 51 with Harry Solomon (17) at the other end.
Tshiki, fourth out on 233, faced 86 balls for his 104. He hit 14 fours and two sixes.
Deepanshu Gahlawat (2-58) was the only Yelverton bowler to collect more than one wicket.
Yelverton were all out in reply midway through the 21st over for 65.
Ed Sorenson top scored on 20.
Most of the damage with the ball was done by Lewis Clarke (4-15) and Arthur Johnson (3-21). Johnson's three wickets all came in a 10-ball spell that tore the heart out of Yelverton's top order.
David Ackford, the Yelverton captain, said there were a number of factors that contributed to this defeat.
"Ours is a young team that is in transition and we had availability issues when playing against the best team in our division," said Ackford.
CORNWOOD 2nd XI knocked Ashburton off the top of the C West table by inflicting a 14-run defeat on them around the showers.
The odds appeared to be stacked in Ashburton's favour after they were 111 for three coming up to halfway on the chase and well ahead on run rate with rain in the air.
Cornwood had already shown their fighting mindset by battling back from 88 for five to reach 214 for nine in 45 overs. And they did it again, this time with the ball.
A rain break meant Ashburton's target came down on run-rate to 186 in 39 overs. They were bowled out for 171.
