The 21-year-old has yet to score his first goal for the Pilgrims though, despite getting into some excellent positions, and is hoping that wait ends soon. Ten different players have shared in the 27 goals Argyle have notched up in the Championship and Carabao Cup this term, but Kesler-Hayden has not been among them.
He almost added his name to the list in the 0-0 draw away to West Bromwich Albion last month when he had a low shot superbly saved by Alex Palmer, the former Pilgrims’ loan signing.
Kesler-Hayden said: “I have got got closer and closer. I think the West Brom game was my last one. I have just got to keep getting in them positions and hopefully I get one soon.”
