A PLYMOUTH litter-picking team came across several unexpected items in a city tidy-up yesterday, including what is understood to be stolen war medals.
The Clean Our Patch CIC team are well known in Plymouth, regularly cleaning up neighbourhoods in the city- and it's not the first time they've found something unusual.
Yesterday, the Clean Our Patch were tackling the Laira area, spending one and a half hours in the neighbourhood accumulating a huge pile of bin bags full of rubbish.
But they didn't expect to find 'treasures' in the form of someone's war which they've since realmedals are stolen items.
