A TV celebrity who lives in southeast Cornwall was rescued by locals after his car fell victim to a pothole.
ITV’s Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley told viewers his car tyre suffered two tyre blowouts when it hit a massive hole on an unnamed Cornish road.
Richard and his wife, Judy Finnigan, were rescued by a ‘very kind’ local pair who drive them to a garage, and even gave his wife a lift home. Unfortunately, he said he did not get the name of the couple who went so far out of their way to rescue them.
