But despite beating Gloucester City and Havant & Waterlooville at Bolitho Park in recent weeks, their failure to overcome relegation rivals Tiverton Town means the club remain in the Southern League Premier Division relegation zone.
Hopes were high that Parkway could build on that superb 2-1 win against Havant last weekend, courtesy of goals from Mitch Beardmore and Callum Hall. But despite a dominant first half against Tivvy, Parkway could not get the goal their play deserved and the second half belonged to their improved Devon rivals, who almost snatched victory in stoppage time.
A point did little for either side in their quest to avoid the drop with both teams remaining in the relegation zone ahead of Parkway's trip to Basingstoke Town tomorrow.
