McPhee seeks a response after Parkway's weekend loss
The Herald|January 14, 2025
PLYMOUTH Parkway manager Chris McPhee is eyeing immediate redemption from Saturday's home defeat to Swindon Supermarine as his side welcome Bracknell Town to Bolitho Park tonight.
- JACK HOBBS

Parkway led twice thanks to a scorching strike from Callum Hall and a first goal for Taylor Scarff but ended up losing 3-2 after a resilient comeback from the away side.

Parkway had their chances to further their lead and were inevitably punished for their lack of cutting edge in the final third, but luck didn't seem to be on the host's side when two big decisions went against them.

Swindon centre half Nicholas Peare was lucky not to see red for a reckless challenge on Parkway's Carlo Garside in the second half, and the host's frantic calls for a lastminute handball in the box, again from Peare, were waved away by referee Luke McFarlane.

"I was fortunate to have a really good view, better than the one the referee had, and his arm wasn't in a natural position but it's not that decision that kills us it's other ones", said McPhee.
