ADAM Randell has become an important member of Argyle's team this season, according to manager Steven Schumacher, and underlines how valuable the club's academy is becoming.
Prior to today's clash with Ipswich, Schumacher was asked about the midfielder's progress, having made his latest league appearance against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.
Randell has already scored twice for Argyle this season, made 10 starts in the Championship, and was featured on the front of the programme for Wednesday's clash at Home Park.
Schumacher said: "I think Rand's every year is getting more mature.
His performances when he first broke in the team were good, but then other times he would go games where he wasn't as involved as much, and I think over the last two seasons he has become a real important member of the team and the squad.
