The length of the loan deal has not been specified by either club, but it will allow Redruth-born Baker to train with Argyle for much of the week and link up with Parkway for training sessions and matches.
It will be a return to Southern League Premier South action for Baker, who played close to 30 games on loan to Tiverton Town last season.
Baker is an Argyle academy graduate who is under contract until the end of the 2024/25 season. He will join the Parkway squad under their new manager Chris McPhee, whose assistant is Lee Peacock, the former Bristol City and Swindon Town striker.
Parkway posted on their official X account: “We are thrilled to announce that goalkeeper Zak Baker will be joining Plymouth Parkway on a loan deal. A big thank you to @ Argyle for their support in facilitating this move as Zak continues his development at Bolitho Park.”
