PLAYERS from Plymouth City Patriots basketball team aimed to put a bounce in the step of patients and staff at Derriford Hospital children’s ward, with a visit that saw them hand out presents and spread some festive cheer.
Every player and staff member from the club’s BBL roster was in attendance, as they spent time with children and gave out gifts in a visit on Friday afternoon.
The club regularly attends events and engages with the community at a whole host of events, clubs and sessions throughout the year using basketball as a positive tool to bring people together.
