PLANS are moving forward which would see Plymouth's Millbay Docks receive investment to become a key strategic freight port and cruise terminal. Plymouth City Council, Millbay Docks and the dock's major customer Brittany Ferries have signed an agreement to develop freight and improve dock infrastructure.
They have also pledged to work together to work towards Net Zero. The organisations signed a Memorandum of Understanding which will support Millbay Docks as a key economic driver for Plymouth and work towards the council's ambition to become Net Zero by 2030.
