But it will replace it by installing a “pop-up” Costa Coffee mobile van on Armada Way. The company also stressed that the two other Costa Coffee shops, at 1-3 New George Street and in Drake Circus Shopping Centre, will remain open.
The mall Costa has been hit with repeated closures, the most recent in October, but it is currently open. The company said it was due to “ongoing maintenance issues which have now been resolved”.
Meanwhile, the outlet at 51-53 New George Street will shut for “a transformative renovation” on November 15. The company said the two-week shutdown is necessary “so it can receive a complete modern uplift”.
