A PLYMOUTH pub has fought back against testing times and reopened. After a complete transformation, the pub is welcoming the community once again, despite its past struggles when living costs soared.
Plympton pub The George Inn has undergone a fancy renovation inside and out and the beer garden has doubled in size. The popular pub has been closed for months as it underwent an exciting refit, but celebrated its reopening on July 24.
The George Inn is owned by St Austell Brewery, and will be run by husband-and-wife team Dan and Beth McRae-Bothwick. The couple plan to throw a big party on the August bank holiday to celebrate the pub’s dazzling new look.
