RANDELL A ROLE MODEL

MIDFIELDER Adam Randell is a superb role model for the next generation at Plymouth Argyle, according to director of football Neil Dewsnip.

After the transfer of goalkeeper Michael Cooper to Sheffield United in August, 24-year-old Randell is very much the flag bearer for the work of the academy at his hometown club. He is fast closing in on 150 appearances and must have become one of the first names on the team sheet for head coach Wayne Rooney given the quality of his performances this season.
