The 79-year-old had become the oldest contestant in the history of the hit BBC One show. This year, the famous glitterball trophy was carried off by Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola – who Angela had tipped for the title.
Last week was the first time there had been a full complement of celebrities, barring Amanda Abbington, as they learned a new routine for the show’s grand final.
