The Brittany Ferries ship Armorique will introduce pet-friendly cabins for the first time when voyages from Millbay to Roscoff restart in time for the half-term break.
Up to now, dogs have had to remain in cars during the crossing. But the company has had 18 cabins on Armorique upgraded to accommodate pooches.
It comes as the company restarts trips from February 9, earlier than the usual season. Ships will leave Plymouth five nights a week, bound for Roscoff.
