The YMCA Plymouth Youth Awards span 16 categories, recognising young people from across the city who are making a positive impact in their communities.
Toby Edgeler won the Young Fundraiser of the Year award for his efforts on behalf of a bereavement charity (see below), while his sister, Isabelle Edgeler, was a finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year category.
The young pair have achieved a great deal in the face of adversity. Isabelle and Toby’s father was a soldier who took his own life after battling with PTSD.
Despite the trauma they experienced, these remarkable youngsters have sought ways to help and bring hope to others.
