Gemma Wiseman leaves behind her heartbroken wife and three-year-old daughter. She was born in Plymouth and went on to have a successful football career, playing for England and Great Britain deaf women's teams.
Gemma helped to guide Team GB to third place at the 2016 World Deaf Football Championships. She also worked as a teaching assistant.
On December 16, her body was found by a member of the public in a park on the outskirts of Rackheath, Norfolk. An inquest has been opened at Norfolk Coroner's Court to establish the circumstances of her death, with a further hearing set to take place in July.
