TWO men who kicked and punched a man to the ground, leaving him with injuries which led to his death in a Plymouth hospital several days later, are set to be sentenced, after one was found guilty of murder and the other guilty of manslaughter.
During the trial at Plymouth Crown Court, which lasted for three weeks, the jury heard how Cowin Fuoco-Fisher, aged 25, and James Caswell, aged 29, were jointly accused of the murder of Stefan Shotton following an assault which took place in the early hours of May 28 last year, in Devonport Road, Stoke, Plymouth.
Mr Shotton was later taken to Derriford Hospital suffering serious head injuries, including a bleed on the brain.
