What a turnout! Car meet brings in bumper crowd

THOUSANDS of people attended a mammoth car meet in Plymouth last night with vehicles queuing for "miles" along the A38 to get in.

The One Last Ride gathering was billed as the final "cruise" for the city and attracted petrolheads from as far as London to the Marsh Mills Retail Park.

More than a thousand cars are estimated to have turned up and organisers said thousands of people enjoyed the strictly-controlled event. They said vehicles were queuing for up to two miles, back as far as the A38, to get in.

Jonathan Lo an organiser along with Jay Peters and Charlotte Adams - said a huge range of cars were on display on Saturday evening, including classics and racers.

He told The Herald: "Like wow.
