WITH TWO GAMES REMAINING, SEVEN TEAMS ARE SCRAPPING IT OUT FOR SURVIVAL

Who is playing who in the intense battle to stay in the Championship?

IT promises to be a vital weekend for Plymouth Argyle. Depending on their result away to Millwall this afternoon, as well as those elsewhere, their Championship safety could be secured, or it could still all be hanging in the balance going into their final fixture of the season against Hull City at Home Park next Saturday (May 4).

Seven clubs are battling to avoid being the two other teams who will already relegated Rotherham United in League One next season. Here is a look at their fixtures for the penultimate round of matches in the 2023/24 campaign.

17th Stoke City - Played 44 Points 50 Goal difference - 16

Stoke might already have enough points to stay up after beating Argyle 3-0 at the bet365 Stadium last weekend but it is not mathematically guaranteed, hence their inclusion in this list.

Steven Schumacher's side make the trip to the south coast tomorrow to take on fourth-placed Southampton, who suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat at table-topping Leicester City on Tuesday night before ending the season at home to 12th-placed Bristol City next weekend

18th Queens Park Rangers - Played 44 Points 50 Goal difference - 16
