ACTOR Darshan Thoogudeepa, accused No 2 in the Renukaswamy murder case, is said to have confessed to his involvement in the case as per the remand application submitted by the police to the court.

According to the remand copy, the 47-year-old actor confessed to having given ₹30 lakh to Pradosh, another accused in the case, to manage the police and lawyers and to pay those who surrender before the police, claiming that they had committed the murder. The actor is said to have given the money to make sure that his name does not come up in the case. As per the remand copy, the actor mentioned this in his voluntary statement. During their search, the police seized cash from Pradosh's house on JP Road in Girinagar.
