CLOSE on the heels of the BJP announcing its Rajya Sabha candidate list, the Congress also declared the names of 10 nominees.

While P Chidambaram has been fielded from Tamil Nadu, Vivek Tankha has got the ticket from Madhya Pradesh, as reported by TNIE earlier. But the big surprise was the omission of Ghulam Nabi Azad, the most prominent among the G-23 leaders who was earlier the party's leader in the Upper House.
