Debt-ridden farmer kills family, ends life in Kadapa

A farmer from Diddikunta village in Simhadripuram mandal, Kadapa district, reportedly killed his wife, son, and daughter before taking his own life on Friday night, citing mounting debts as the primary cause.

Simhadripuram Sub-Inspector Tulasi Nagendra Prasad confirmed that Komera Nagendra (40), his wife Vani (38), and their children Bhargav (15) and Gayatri (14) were found dead.

Nagendra, who was burdened with over ₹20 lakh in debts, including a loan for a tractor, had faced successive crop failures over the last four years.
