DECEMBER 29th marks the 18th anniversary of the iconic Kannada film Mungaru Male. The film, which garnered immense popularity and critical acclaim, continues to hold a special place in the hearts of Kannada cinema lovers. This milestone coincides with the latest news that the director-producer duo, Yogaraj Bhat and E Krishnappa are collaborating again for their upcoming film, Manada Kadalu.

While the film is in post-production, the first song, 'Hoo Dumbi,' was launched at a grand event, celebrating the return of the successful collaboration between composer Harikrishna and director-lyricist Yogaraj Bhat. The track, out on Dbeats channel, features lead actors Sumukha and Rashika Shetty, with vocals by Sanjith Hegde, choreography by Murali, and cinematography by Santhosh Rai Pathaje. The song became an instant hit, connecting with audiences far and wide.

Legendary actor Dattatreya (Dattanna) took to the stage, evoking nostalgia and reverence for the golden age of music. Expressing his admiration for iconic voices like Pankaj Malik and KL Saigal, he remarked, "Whenever I want to cry, I listen to their songs. There's a purity in old melodies." He went on to sing a line, letting the music convey his emotions and drawing the audience into his heartfelt tribute.
