Two Kovai men cheated of ₹53 lakh in online scam

IN two incidents, a few unknown miscreants cheated around ₹53 lakh from a Coimbatore-based technical manager and a university professor.

According to the police, R K Narasimhan (53), a resident of Cheran ma Nagar in Vilankurichi has been working as a technical manager of a private company and he used to invest money in the stock market. On September 3, he saw a stock market advertisement on Facebook and joined their WhatsApp group.
