FACTIONALISM within the Gujarat BJP has intensified following the recent appointments of mandal and taluka presidents, leading to widespread dissent. Protests have erupted across various districts along with a poster war between the warring factions.

The unrest has drawn in supporters of former Deputy Chief Minister and MLA Karsan Solanki. Tensions escalated in Mehsana district, where protests in Vadnagar transformed into a poster war in Kadi taluka, pitting supporters of former Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel against MLA Solanki.
