PROTESTING against the alleged derogatory remarks on B. R. Ambedkar by Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently in the parliament, various organisations under the banner of Dr Ambedkar Thinkers' forum have called for Vijayapura bandh on December 30.
These organisations had earlier called for a bandh on December 28, but since the government had announced for two-day mourning after the demise of former prime minister, Manmohan Singh, the strike was postponed to December 30.
