Nettaru, a BJP Yuva Morcha's Dakshina Kannada district secretary, was allegedly hacked to death with sharp weapons by "members of the banned outfit Popular Front of India (PFI)" in Bellare village of Dakshina Kannada district on July 26, 2022.
"The horrendous killing was aimed at instilling fear in a specific section of society," NIA stated in an official release.
