TWO people, including a minor, drowned in the Thenpennai River near Arangkandanallur on Tuesday in Villupuram district. According to the police, M Gopi (45), a resident of Anna Nagar and owner of an electrical shop, took his relatives from Tiruvannamalai to the river for a bath. During the outing, J Yokesh (17) and J Vetrivel (16), both from Raghavendrar Nagar, swam into a deeper area of the river.
