The searches ended at the residence of Water Resources Minister Duraimurugan in Gandhinagar around 2:30 a.m.
The searches were purportedly linked to the alleged seizure of cash meant for distribution among voters during the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
According to sources, Duraimurugan's residence, which doubles up as the official address of Kathir Anand, was under scrutiny for 11 hours.
