Delhi Police personnel reached the spot soon after the explosion. The National Security Guard and National Investigation Agency also sent their teams to inspect the blast site.
Investigators lifted fragments of some white powder from the spot, which indicated the use of a crude bomb having a chemical mixture of ammonium nitrate and ammonium chloride.
