Eminent historian and Tamilologist Asko Parpola and epigraphist Iravatham Mahadevan have said it was Tamil culture. And Stalin continues to uphold it to counter the recent right-wing saffron attempts to present IVC as Vedic and rechristen it as Sindhu-Saraswati Civilization.
