According to CBI sources, the investigators are examining Kuntal's role in making the letter public. Kuntal Ghosh, the expelled Trinamul leader, had filed a charge sheet against the Enforcement Directorate (ED), CBI, and Kolkata Police in a corruption case related to recruitment while he was in jail.
The letter was also sent to a lower court judge.
