The solar power plant is captive, to be used for the company's needs as opposed to providing power to other users.
The 21-megawatt (MW) solar plant will generate over 30 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, increasing the trust's green energy usage by 70 per cent and reducing carbon emissions by over 17,000 tonnes, the company said in a press release.
The plant, which can be expanded by 8MW, will meet the power supply needs of two million square feet-equivalent of office space, the company added.
