The Disability Trends Report provides key statistical trends relating to persons with disabilities (PWDs) and their caregivers. The report references the National Council of Social Service's Public Attitudes Study, which surveyed a representative sample of the general public to capture a broader pulse of sentiments towards PWDs in employment, education, public access and social inclusion.

While public attitudes were generally positive, we note the drop in positive attitudes in the workplace compared to 2019, and the higher proportion of positive attitudes among those with regular contact with PWDs compared to those without.
